Outpatient Services

Licensed Drug & Alcohol Services

Services are available for both adolescents and adults who meet eligibility requirements through their private health insurance, Value Behavioral Health, or Value Options.

Individual, family, and group counseling sessions are available both in the home and at any one of our outpatient clinics.

Utilizing the “stages of change” model that includes five distinct phases, Precontemplation, Contemplation, Preparation, Action, and Maintenance, treatment services can be provided on an Outpatient or Intensive Outpatient level of care.

We believe the fullness of life is experienced with each step of the journey. Adversity that each day presents must be embraced and overcome and that we can rise above the mundane concerns that so easily beset us.

The Outpatient Program views addiction as a primary, chronic disease with genetic, psycho-social andenvironmental factors influencing development and manifestation. Our clinical work is guided in part by the Transtheoretical “stages of change” model based on research conducted by Prochaska and DeClemente. All individuals, despite diverse and complex backgrounds go through five distinct phases of change with predictable processes at each stage. The stages are Precontemplation, Contemplation, Preparation, Action, and Maintenance. A client can cycle through these stages in a variety of timeframes depending on individual factors.

Individual sessions may be combined with family sessions and group sessions to enhance progress. Family sessions informed by structural and strategic family principles support and strengthen family functioning. Adolescent group sessions provide valuable peer-to-peer dialogue and feedback that stimulates fresh perspectives regarding recovery. Groups are formed as needed and may be held in client-friendly locations throughout the county. Face-to-face time is coupled with telephone and teleconferencing techniques in a manner similar to many of SAMHSA’s model programs. This allows for frequent, responsive and timely treatment opportunities in a client-friendly and cost-efficient delivery system. Client satisfaction and outcomes information is gathered during treatment and post-discharge.

Outside In conducts evaluations with adolescents or adults to determine if treatment is necessary and what service would best meet the client’s needs. Outside In’s Substance Abuse Treatment Services can provide treatment on an Outpatient or Intensive Outpatient level of care.
